You can learn words, phrases, and their pronunciation in 48 languages with Reji (in alphabetic order): Afrikaans, Albanian, Amharic, Arabic, Armenian, Bosnian, Catalan, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Esperanto, Finnish, Filipino, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Icelandic, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Kurdish, Kyrgyz, Latin, Latvian, Macedonian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovak, Spanish, Swahili, Swedish, Tamil, Thai, Turkish, Vietnamese, Welsh.
At this point, Reji automatically pulls up example sentences for all words you're saving in English, Arabic, German, Spanish, French, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian and Russian.
It's designed for language class students or any other people who have a stack of words in a foreign language they want to memorize. They can save these words and link them with a translation into their language, an image or a definition.
It's 100% free.
We temporarily removed it. It will get back as soon as we get enough quality content for it.
No, Reji is only available for iOS devices (iPhone/iPad with iOS 10.3+) at this point. However, we are planning to launch it for Android later this year, too. Subscribe to our newsletter to stay up-to-date!
Reji is using spaced repetition algorithm to teach you words. This algorithm is considered to be very efficient for learning words. You can read more about it here.
Reji speaks out with correct accent so that you can hear and repeat it aloud, it also shows you phonetic transcription for languages that support it, or transliteration (for Chinese, it’s pinyin, for instance).
It means that you have flashcards in this deck that are due learning or repetition. As soon as you’ve learned all words in a deck, the dot icon changes to a tick.
Sure! And all your decks will be auto-synced on all devices via iCloud.
Yes. Reji back ups all your decks in your iCloud automatically. Thus, if you reinstall Reji or install it another iOS device (note they must use the same Apple ID), all your decks will be automatically restored.
